These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Panama Visa Experts website and services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of services
Panama Visa Experts is a Panama-licensed law firm specializing in immigration law. Our services include legal counsel, document preparation, government filings, and accompaniment for Panama residency applications. We are licensed by the Panama Bar Association (Colegio Nacional de Abogados de Panamá).
2. Not legal advice without engagement
Information on this website is provided for general educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. An attorney-client relationship is created only upon signing a formal service agreement with our firm. Until then, no attorney-client privilege or confidentiality applies to information shared.
3. Free consultation
We offer a free 30-minute initial consultation. The consultation is for informational and assessment purposes. No attorney-client relationship is established during the free consultation. Information shared during the free consultation is treated confidentially as a matter of professional courtesy but is not protected by attorney-client privilege until you formally engage us.
4. Fees and payments
We use flat-fee pricing. Total fees are quoted in writing before service engagement. Standard payment structure is 50% upon engagement and 50% upon government filing. The qualifying investment (real estate, bank deposit, reforestation project) is paid directly to the investment vehicle and is not part of our legal fees.
5. No guarantees of approval
While our approval rate exceeds 99% when documents are properly prepared, no law firm can guarantee a specific outcome with any government immigration authority. Application outcomes depend on factors outside our control including completeness of documentation, government processing decisions, and changes in immigration law.
6. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide truthful and complete information, gather and provide documents as requested in a timely manner, and notify us of any changes in your situation that may affect the application. Misrepresentation or omission may result in application denial and is grounds for termination of our service relationship.
7. Refund policy
If we have not yet filed your application with Panama Immigration, you may terminate the engagement and receive a partial refund based on work completed. Once the application is filed, government filing fees are non-refundable, and legal fees for completed work are non-refundable.
8. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the legal fees paid to us. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. We are not liable for outcomes affected by your home country's tax, immigration, or financial regulations.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, images, logos, design) is the property of Panama Visa Experts and protected by copyright. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Panama City, Panama.
